Job Summary

In coordination with the SPED Administrative Support, performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the special education program ensuring federal and state compliance. The SPED Administrative Assistant is expected to work cooperatively with team members and others to enable the departments to provide the highest level of service possible. Creativity and productivity is encouraged and valued. The incumbent should always work in accordance with the Guiding Principles of the organization.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of Tuberculosis (TB) tests every four years; and passing the relevant Department of Justice (DOJ) background review.
