Under the director of the Director of Child Development, the Education Coordinator ensures that the programs adhere to the Head Start Act regulations/ Performance Standards, and state and local requirements regarding educational services that support positive outcomes for young children birth to five years old.. **English/Spanish Bilingual Preferred**

Experience/Education: - A Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field with a valid Child Development Site Supervisor Permit is required. - Must meet Title 22 licensing standards. - Knowledge of child development, family interaction and community resources is desired. - A minimum of five years recent experience in Early Care and Education Programs is required. - Obtain and maintain CLASS reliability certification. Please include the following with a complete application:

  • Copy of Transcript
  • Credential Copy
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 current letters within the last two years)
  • Resume


  • Child Development Permit - Program Director
  •      OR  Child Development Permit - Site Supervisor
