Magnolia Educational & Research Foundation is a K-12 grade, tuition free, public charter school providing an innovative, high-quality, and standards-based curriculum with an emphasis on math, science, and technology. Magnolia Educational & Research Foundation implements a unique educational program to inspire every student enrolled in the school to feel the joy of learning, and reach their full potential abilities.
We will be serving more than 3,000 students from K-12 and are expanding with three new schools around California. One of our school sites, Magnolia Science Academy in Venice is looking for qualified teacher candidates on the following subject:
• Math
Our IDEAL CANDIDATES must have
• Bachelors degree in related subject,
• Credential for teaching in California,
• Ability to maintain effective classroom management,
• Ability to lead students in project-based learning activities,
• Willingness to communicate with parents periodically about student success and behavior,
• Belief of setting good examples for the students in appearance as well as in behavior,
• Willingness to direct and participate extra- curricular or co-curricular activities such as science fairs, academic and social clubs and field trips,
• Willingness to perform other tasks as may be assigned by the administration,
• Having a philosophy of education that is committed to student success,
• Willingness to participate in creating an effective school culture,
• Willingness to coordinate duties and plan with a small group of teachers.
*Experience in charter school environment is a plus.
