The El Dorado County Office of Education's Charter Alternative Programs are looking for a collaborative and innovative mental health clinician to work with our teams to serve under-served and high needs students in the K-12 setting. Charter Alternative Programs provide alternative educational various options for students including small, nurturing classroom environments, independent study, or hybrid programs. Together, our learning teams create safe and productive classrooms that foster student success through 21st century hands-on learning and social emotional development. Job Requirements - Qualifications: Education: Required - A Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college in the field of psychology, social work, counseling education, or related field. - Licensed in the State of California to provide mental health services (MFT, LCSW, LPC or Licensed Clinical Psychologist). Formal advanced training in recognized positive behavior interventions. Experience: - A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a school setting (preferred). Acceptable related experience would include providing counseling and crisis intervention to children, adolescents, and their families. Experience working with school systems is preferred.
