The Napa County Office of Education (NCOE) is a public agency that provides academic services and enrichment opportunities for students, teachers and the community, as well as critical business services for school districts. NCOE partners with the five public school districts in Napa County on a variety of programs and issues. NCOE also operates numerous federal and state grants including a robust AmeriCorps program and state-wide projects supporting Special Education students.  NCOE's Early Childhood Services program is a leader in inclusive classroom structures.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Professional and Product Development, the Director of Instructional Development works collaboratively with both internal and external teams to produce classroom-based, online, eLearning, webinar, and video-based training courses, guidance documents, and other resources for the field of early care and education, early intervention, and early childhood special education as directed by the California Department of Education. Salary is competitive and commensurate with the successful candidates background and experience. This is a full-time grant-funded position available July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 with the possibility of renewal. Continuation of this position is dependent on job performance and future project funding. Benefits may be purchased for employee and dependents through a Section 125 Plan.
