Basic functions: Under the direction of the Director of Curriculum, the Information Data Specialist will gather, enter, and maintain data in a student information support system (SIS). This person will organize information and data in order to research, compute, and compose reports, and will perform mathematical computations and analysis when necessary. The Information Data Specialist will inventory and catalog data and answer requests for data from all district departments. They will also assist departments with CALPADS data in the CALPADS portal, in SIS, and maintain necessary catalogs per the Director of Curriuclum. Work Schedule: Based on school calendar Responsibilities: Serve as primary data systems analyst for CALPADS Maintain current knowledge within CALPADS, SIS, and the CA Dashboard through ongoing trainings Work with all departments to make sure data is accurate for each semester and school year Troubleshoot and answer questions in SIS relating to CALPADS Create and maintain the calendar in SIS with appropriate learning periods Create, maintain, and rollover course catalogs each new year Create summer school catalog if needed Leads the processes to prepare submission information for California Based Education Data System (CBEDS), California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) and other required state reports, such as those required by National Student Clearinghouse ??Integrates special education information into the student information systems Maintains, troubleshoots and problem solves all web-based grading, attendance systems, Students Information Systems, Databases, and other relevant systems for staff, parent and student use Create CTE pathways and enroll students as needed within the SIS and CALPADS Properly attach all SEID codes, along with demographics and required information attached to the CTE credentialed instructors Enter data from graduated seniors in SIS as required Gather information for all CALPADS reportin
