Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) began providing services to students in 1852 and is located in the heart of California’s Central Valley near the banks of the San Joaquin River. SUSD is the 17th largest school district in California, whereby 38,000 PK-12th grade students come to us to experience an academic journey that leads to high school graduation and success in college, careers, and as actively-engaged community members. Current SUSD substitutes must include, at a minimum: Cover letter Current resume Intern eligible letter (if no appropriate credential)
*If hired, incumbent must provide official transcripts, presented in a sealed envelope, verifying degree(s) and units earned beyond a Bachelor degree.

In addition to candidates with full credentials as described above, consideration will be given to applicants who are eligible for intern credentials from District (IMPACT, Fortune School of Education) or university intern programs. Intern eligibility letter must be submitted with application.
Sixteen (16) years transferable service accepted towards salary placement.
This recruitment will establish an applicant and/or eligibility pool which will be utilized by administrators to fill vacancies throughout the District.
