K-8th Grade, Floating Substitute for the remainder of 2021-2022 School Year. Paid at the long-term substitute rate, $195 per day.

Job Description / Essential Elements:    Print   
Works under the supervision of the school Principal. Implements the curriculum set forth by the Sonora School Site Council and the governing Board of Sonora School District applicable to his/her particular assignment. Prepares long and short term instructional plans based upon assessment of student strengths and weaknesses. Utilizes varied and appropriate modes of instruction. Administers in service activities and attends faculty meetings. Provides input in the selection of books and instructional Maintains a room conducive to a positive learning atmosphere. Keeps records and makes reports as required by administration. Supervises out-of-class activities as required by Principal. Exhibits punctuality in execution of duties. Holds parent conferences when necessary. Utilizes instructional aides and other available resources.¬ Coordinates activities with other professional staff. Maintains professional status by keeping abreast of current and significant developments which affect their field. Promotes a positive image and upholds the standards of Sonora School.
