We are looking for candidates with skills in developing individual personalized goals for resource students and the ability to apply appropriate techniques and methods to assist those students with challenging conditions. Successful candidates must also have the ability to communicate with other students, faculty and staff, and parents about the needs and feelings of their resource students.
Candidates should have two to four years of related job experience and possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited post-secondary institution with a concentration in special education. Candidates should also have a clear credential or be in the process of acquiring a teaching credential for the State of California.
An ideal candidate for Canyon Heights Academy will fully embrace the school's Catholic mission to nurture young people who will develop intellectually and spiritually and have a love of serving others through a love of Christ.
