Visions In Education is seeking a highly skilled educator and leader to serve as our Special Education Manager. The Special Education Manager will serve as an educational leader and be responsible for assisting in leading, managing, coordinating and supervising the special education department and staff. Responsible for ensuring high quality instructional practices and programs, collaborative relationships, preparing students to be successful citizens, and college and career ready. The Special Education Manager will serve as an instructional leader supporting the design, oversite, and implementation of high quality instructional programs and services for students. The Special Education Manager will report to the Special Education Program Administrator. Professionals with experience working with technology and virtual tools are desired. In addition, previous administrative experience, educational experience serving Special Education students and knowledge of home school and independent study programs, charter schools, and non-site based instructional models is preferred. This position will work from Visions main offices in Carmichael. In addition, may travel to surrounding counties.
