Coordinator 1-Special Education (for 2020-21) PCN# 1816 Under the direction of the Special Education Director, organize and direct the operations and activities involved in the development and implementation of special education programs and services; provide consultation, technical assistance and training to faculty, staff, families and the public concerning assigned special education programs and related services, standards, requirements and procedures; coordinate communications, information, curricular resources, staff development activities and personnel to meet student needs and enhance educational effectiveness of assigned Special Education programs and services.

• Valid California Administrative Services Credential • Valid Special Services Credential, Clinical Services Credential, Health Services Credential or School Psychologist authorization • Master’s degree in school administration (preferred) • Three years experience teaching or providing services to students tiwh special needs; including work with curriculum adaptation • Special Education administrative experience (preferred)
