The Attendance Technician, under general supervision, will plan, organize, and participate in the student attendance record management program; assist in the planning, organization, and development of student attendance reports using an automated record management and database system; and to do other related functions as directed. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical qualifying background would include any combination equivalent to: Experience: Two (2) years of responsible student attendance experience, including one (1) year of experience involved with an automated record management system. Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade with an emphasis in organization, office practices, and automated record management systems, or a closely related field.

OPEN TESTING – Open to employees of the District and the public with the selection process resulting in one (1) Eligibility List that will be used to fill future vacancies that occur within one (1) year. Promotional candidates will receive Seniority points. SPECIAL INFORMATION: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, TB test, fingerprinting and may include a physical exam. The physical and drug screen are paid for by the District. The candidate's portion of the fingerprint fee is $40.00.
