BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups of severely, physically or visually handicapped students in a classroom; monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; assist students in developing various self-help, social and community skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school. Some experience in working with children in an organized setting. Proof of graduation, if no degree, will need to be attached to your application or your application will be screened out. REQUIREMENTS: Please include a copy of any college degrees (Associates Degree or higher if applicable) or college unit transcripts; 48 full semester units or better with your application. Also, include a copy of your high school diploma, if you do not have a degree. Any application without units or degrees must take and pass a proficiency exam. Internet College transcripts will be accepted, but upon permanent hire you will need to submit official transcripts. Complete the application in its entirety, do not leave any blanks.
