Current California Special Education/Education Specialist Credential

Letter of introduction, copy of credential, answers to questions below, transcripts, resume, two letters of professional recommendation, one letter of personal recommendation, most recent professional performance evaluation 1. What is your experience handling special education administration tasks? Please include experience with each of the following: CALPADS (formerly CASEMIS) reporting, collaborating with the SELPA administration, working as a SEIS district coordinator, and managing both student and staff caseloads on SEIS. 2. Describe the referral process from beginning to end (end resulting in the student receiving services). Include your role in the SST process while working as both the interventionist and special education teacher for Hume Lake Charter School. 3. You will be working with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, and disabilities ranging from mild to moderate (as well as potentially more severe depending on student population). How would you handle managing this wide range of ages and skill levels? 4. Although you work closely with teachers at all grade levels, the bulk of this job is highly independent. How do you work independently as well as in a team setting? Please describe a time when you have worked in each setting and what worked well.
