Job Summary
Kelly Education is seeking HR Resources Partner responsible for providing support and leadership of HR related activities for one of our partnered schools. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the role is based out of the School Success Team office in East Los Angeles, CA. This role serves as a strategic partner to organizational leaders who help drive customer's mission while working toward achieving its goals by being an advocate, counselor, and change leader that inspires achievement in our students through our team members. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of relative work experience, a bachelor's degree in human resources and/or organizational development, plus an HR designation by either HRCI or SHRM (i.e. SHRM-CP/SCP, SPHR/PHR) Master's degree in human resources organizational development preferred Experience working in a charter management organization and/or multi-site company preferred Extensive knowledge of all federal, state, and local employment and workers' compensation laws Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices Must have a demonstrated ability to influence leaders across the organization Must be able to bring new ideas to the HR department within an organization that serves at least 500+ FTEs Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop productive working relationships with stakeholders across functional and organizational lines High quality verbal, written and presentation communication skills Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to produce high-quality work in a dynamic work environment Proficient in Google Apps, Microsoft Office and HRIS HRB/Portal Administration Flexible team player; willing to step in and support team within the department and cross-functionally based on operational demands Possess and maintain a valid California driver license Be comfortable with 35-50% travel (mostly same day travel within LA County)
