The Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP), an all-girls’, Catholic high school in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ), located in San Diego, is currently seeking to hire a Director of Counseling for the 2020 - 2021 school year to begin July 1, 2020 (opportunity for June 2020 start). The Director of Counseling reports directly to the Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction and is responsible for all areas of the school pertaining to personal, academic and college counseling. This includes the supervision of four counselors and the school registrar. This position works in partnership with the Executive Leadership team to move forward the school’s mission and vision. Candidates should have current high school leadership experience and be well versed and experienced in college counseling. Candidates should currently possess a California Personal Pupil Services Credential, and a Masters degree in Counseling or equivalent.

Qualifications:
MA in Education (preferably within Educational Counseling)
PPS Credential
Minimum of 5 years experience counseling in a high school setting
