For more than a decade University High School has been rated as one of the nation's best high schools. Residing on a college campus, every student participates in choral or instrumental programs and take a full slate of college prep classes including nearly two years of college work. Our diploma program is perhaps the most rigorous in the country and the school attracts a wide variety of highly motivated students from the area including the best musicians. Given the nature of our school the choral job here is unlike anything you will find at a traditional school and immensely satisfying. Our current director is retiring after serving at the school for the last 13 years. His job entails conducting our choirs and teaching our junior year students a course on musicianship, although the skill set of the new director could result in a change to the required work.
