Job Summary
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Superintendent shall be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the District, responsible for the effective operation of the District; general administration of all instructional, business or other operations of the District; and for advising and making recommendations to the Board of Trustees with respect to such activities. The Superintendent shall perform all the duties and accept all of the responsibilities required of a Superintendent as prescribed by the Education Laws of the State of California, the rules and regulations of the California State Board of Education; laws and regulations of the United States; statutes of the State of California; and the policies, rules, and regulations established by the District’s Board of Trustees.

Master’s degree in Educational Administration or equivalent required; Ed.D. desired Verification of current California credential Valid Clear California Administrative Services Credential desired Possess comprehensive knowledge of school district administration and demonstrated successful experience with a variety of school site and district level positions preferably in a unified school district
