The California Montessori Project is a public K-8 charter program using research-based Montessori pedagogy in providing academic choice for the greater Sacramento area and Shingle Springs, CA. We are actively seeking enthusiastic teammates for our Capitol campus (5 minutes from Sac State) within our charter network (please visit our website for specific school locations and more information on our "Club Montessori" after-school program). We are looking for employees who enjoy the opportunity to contribute to an after school program that strives for excellence in after school programming and service for our school families who have need for extended care before and after the regular school day. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 2 - 6 pm Our extended care program is a great stepping stone for individuals who are pursuing a career in education. Many of our previous after school staff have gone on to obtain their teaching credentials and have accepted full-time regular teaching assignments. The most qualified candidates for this position will possess educational units in child development, education or a related field.
