Job Summary
Under administrative direction, maintains the computer technology assets of PCI. Coordinates assigned activities with other PCI departments, officials, outside agencies, and the public. The IT Coordinator will establish protocols for computer usage and security, as well as ensure that all employees adhere to these rules. Provide all aspects of training for IT related systems.

- BS degree with 5 years of related job experience, MS preferred - Supplemental specialized training in applications programming, systems analysis, and four years of increasingly responsible experience installing and maintaining systems software in an environment using relational database management systems. - Industry certifications or experience may substitute for some higher education

This full time position would support Pacific Charter Institute's students and staff with information technology needs and security. This position is based out of the Corporate Office in Sacramento and may require travel between resource centers in Sacramento County and surrounding counties.
Experienced educators formed PCI, a non-profit 501(c) 3 public benefit corporation, incorporated in 2005. PCI currently operates 4 high-quality, K-12 Homeschool and Independent Study programs serving students across 16 counties through Heritage Peak Charter School, Rio Valley Charter School, Valley View Charter Prep and Sutter Peak Charter Academy.
Pacific Charter Institute supports the fluidity and adaptability of an independent study program focused on college preparatory academic achievement to meet the individual needs of each student. The traditional educational system meets the needs of the majority of students. PCI offers students that choose a different path the opportunity to maintain access to four-year college, while engaging in school in the manner that is effective for them.
