Bachelor's Degree, appropriate valid CA Credential and/or CTE - Arts, Media, and Entertainment along with English and/or Computer Credential . CLAD or BCLAD preferred, and CBEST certification required.

Freestyle Academy is seeking an innovative full-time Animation teacher to join our Communication Arts and Technology Program. The ideal candidate will be prepared to teach as an innovator, with the ability to be flexible with course design and curricular content focusing on integrated project-based learning. Strong communication, creativity, enthusiasm and positive energy are essential. Transfer knowledge including animation principles and theory, practical skills, methods and techniques. Impart practical application of principles, techniques, and animation and modeling software.
* Strong design fundamentals and understanding of cinematic aesthetics
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
*Experience with traditional and stop-motion animation, 2D computer animation, 3D modeling and animation and programs
*Experience with digital video production, and multiple computer platforms is desirable.
