Job Summary
Job Summary
-Responsible for the supervision of three and four-year-old preschool children. -Responsible for the daily classroom preparation and clean up. -Assist and guide parent/community volunteers in the center. -Implement Creative Curriculum for Preschool as identified. -Responsible for observations and documentation of Child Outcomes. -Ensure compliance with Title 22, Community Care Licensing for a childcare facility and policies and procedures as applicable. -Conduct home visits and parent conferences with each family assigned during the school year, as per model design. -Ensure a safe and healthy environment for preschool children. -Support parent engagement at all levels of the department. -Participate in all family activities and parent committee/workshops and meetings, as scheduled. -Maintain accurate documentation as assigned. -Appropriately redirect children’s behaviors when needed. -Step into the role of the Teacher/Director in his/her absence

-Associate Arts degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with the understanding that you must be enrolled in a program leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in order to fully qualify for the position. -Hold or qualify for a Teacher Permit; to include 24 units of ECE/CD courses, plus 16 General Education units. -One year of adult supervisory experience in a childcare and/or preschool setting. -Ability to lift and/or move up to 10-30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. -Valid California driver's license and insured reliable transportation.
