Job Summary

Job Summary

The Mountain Oaks Satellite Site Secretary/Instructional Technician performs technical tasks related to satellite office organization and functioning. Assists mentor teachers, parents, workshop instructors, special events organizers and committees regarding satellite operations. Assists in the instruction, supervision and training of individual or groups of students with a variety of educational and technological needs. Mountain Oaks offers the best of independent study at home, on-site classes and online educational opportunities. Our program focuses on providing an individualized, unique, high quality and standards-based learning plan for each student that includes flexibility through varied curriculum, individualized support and innovative opportunities. We honor parent and student choice, in the context of accountability to meet or exceed State/Common Core Standards. Each student and their family works with a fully credentialed teacher who focuses on optimizing the student's potential. As Mountain Oaks is a public charter school, there are no enrollment or tuition fees charged.
