Only candidates who meet minimum requirements and submit all required documentation b the deadline date will be considered to interviews. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Assists a credentialed Speech Therapist or Audiologist in supplementing, enhancing, and extending speech/language therapy services for pupils with speech and language disorders. Assists in providing training and use of augmentative and alternative communication devices and technology. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in speech and language pathology or communication disorders and one year of experience working with children. One year of clinical experience is preferred. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES: Must have a valid license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from the Department of Consumer Affairs Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board. Requires a valid California driver’s license. If using personal vehicle in the course of employment, must have proof of liability insurance required by law. DMV H-6 printout.
