Primary Functions: Under general supervision, will assist the principal in the organization and operation of the school and support and enhance the school climate through a variety of responsibilities.


Performance Responsibilities
* Operate the school during the Principal¡¦s absence.
* Resolve individual student academic and behavioral problems.
* Serve as liaison with law enforcement and other public agency services.
* Supervise extra curricular activities including: intramural and social activities, student government, assemblies, contests, fund-raisers.
* Develop school master schedule.
* Supervise the school attendance program, oversee the completion of state and district reports.
* Coordinate and assign teacher and other adult supervision of student activities.
* Serve as chairperson and coordinator of the Student Study Team.
* Attend and participate in district meetings and programs as delegated by the principal.
* Assist in preparation of school communications.
* Maintain a safe and secure environment for students and staff, including buildings and grounds.
* Coordinate and supervise pupil personnel services including orientation, guidance and counseling.
* Evaluate certificated personnel and instructional programs.
* Supervise classified personnel and operations.
* Manage and implement computerized attendance, scheduling, and grading system.
* Perform all other duties as assigned,


ADA Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift objects weighing approximately 10 lbs. (i.e. paperwork, files), push, pull, drag, and grasp objects.

          Brentwood is located in Northern California approximately 60 miles east of San Francisco. This position is for the 2019-20 school year at Edna Hill Middle School. Applications will be screened and notified of invitation to interview during the week of July 1, 2019. The first interview will occur on Monday, July 8, 2019.
