Ivy Academia Charter School seeks a highly motivated and outgoing school counselor intern who will work as a team player with K-11 students. The intern will create Individual Learning Plans for all 8th graders in order to prepare for high school, support emotional and social needs of all students, create study plans for struggling students, contact teachers and parents as needed and assist with any other counseling needs for students. The intern position will also need to commute to different Ivy sites when necessary.
The counselor intern will work under the supervision of the site principal and school counselor. He/She will check in weekly to ensure that progress is made within all areas assigned.
