The El Dorado County Office of Education’s Elementary LEAD Program is seeking a collaborative and innovative special education teacher to join our team at Silva Valley Elementary School in El Dorado Hills. The LEAD (Learning Emotional and Academic Determination) Program is a county-operated program serving students who have significant social emotional and behavior challenges. In partnership with our schools and districts, the LEAD team provides students an opportunity to receive meaningful and responsive academic and social-emotional support in a Special Day Class setting located on a comprehensive school site. We are seeking a highly qualified special education teacher to join our team and help foster a safe and productive learning environment for each and every student.
Job Requirements-Qualifications: - Experience Required: One year experience in related teaching assignment; work with students with severe handicaps preferred. - Education Required: Bachelor’s degree and valid CA Ed Specialist credential with mild/mod or mod/severe authorization
