The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. Placement is for the 2019/2020 school year and is open to: FULLY CREDENTIALED Teachers and candidates who will be INTERN ELIGIBLE by August 2019 (verified by a valid credential, program completion letter or Intern Eligible Letter) - GLAD training and three years successful elementary, or kindergarten teaching experience preferred.

  • Copy of Transcript (From BA/BS and beyond (upon hire, original transcripts are required))
  • English Learner Authorization (or equivalent (Please attach CTC public view of credential status or credential copy))
  • Letter of Introduction (Prepared to the attention of: Sherry Strausbaugh, Director, Certificated Personnel, Fremont Unified School District, 4210 Technology Drive, Fremont, CA 94538)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three (3) letters of professional recommendation (within two (2) years of your application date (One from a Supervisor)))
  • Resume (Resume)

The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is located in the City of Fremont, California, within Alameda County. Fremont is part of the Bay Area, located Southeast of San Francisco and nestled near Silicon Valley. The following employment procedures will be followed: 1. Hiring staff review applications on file of those who possess the appropriate credential for the assignment. 2. Applicants for the specific assignments will be contacted for a scheduled interview. 3. Hiring staff will recommend candidates to Human Resources. 4. Human Resources staff will offer contracts after review of applicant's qualifications. 5. Applicants will report to Human Resources to complete employment papers, sign contract, and receive authorization documents to report to work.
