Santa Cruz City Schools is seeking a Teacher on Special Assignment - Science Coach. This position is part-time at 40% FTE. This position starts August 2019 and is probationary in status.

JOB SUMMARY: The Science Coach is an experienced Science teacher in the district with primary responsibility of supporting and assisting secondary teachers in the transitioning and implementation of the Common Core State Standards. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential for Science, five years of successful classroom teaching experience, possess strong content knowledge and experience in the teaching of Science at the secondary level, demonstrated skills in working with adult learners and experience in providing professional development.
