Job Summary
Job Summary
To provide a full range of educationally related mental health services to students in grades 9-12, including assessment, development of individual treatment plans and individual and group counseling. To evaluate recommend, and execute remedial plans for pupils whose social, academic, and emotional problems prevent them from profiting to the maximum extent possible in school situations. Improve student achievement through behavioral and mental health counseling complying with Federal and State laws and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

* Must possess a current Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or Clinical Social Work (LCSW) license or be eligible to receive full license within the current school year. * Master's degree (or higher) in counseling/social work or related discipline from an accredited institute * At least 1 year full-time experience in providing mental health therapy services to school-aged children in a California school district, county education office, or county mental health authority. * Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) trained * ASIST trained * CPR/First Aid trained
