Who are we? We are a dynamic team of Montessori and California credentialed teachers and support staff with a mission to provide tuition free, quality Montessori education to children in grades K – 8th. We have campuses in Carmichael, Downtown Sacramento, Elk Grove, Fair Oaks and Shingle Springs. School operates from 8:30 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday.
We are currently seeking positive and enthusiastic child centered staff for our Before and After School Care Program to provide playtime, homework club, tutoring, and planned activities/games during Club Montessori hours. (7 am to 8:30 am and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm)
This position is part-time from August through June with the possibility of summer hours.

You can earn $13.00+per hour while gaining valuable work experience!! We love to consider college students who wish to pursue a career in the education field, have some child care experience, an ability to create extended care activities and curriculum, and a desire to provide quality care for our students. The California Montessori Project is a public K-8 charter program using research-based Montessori pedagogy in providing academic choice for the greater Sacramento area and Shingle Springs, CA. We are actively seeking enthusiastic teammates for our various campuses throughout the greater Sacramento area. Please visit our website for specific school locations and more information on our "Club Montessori" after-school program. We are looking for someone who enjoys the opportunity to contribute to an after school program that strives for excellence in after school programming and service for our school families who have need for extended care before and after the regular school day. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 2 - 6 pm Some early a.m. shifts may also possibly be available (7 am to approximately 8-8:30 am). Our extended care program is a great stepping stone for individuals who are pursuing a career in education. Many of our previous after school staff have gone on to obtain their teaching credentials and have accepted full-time regular teaching assignments. The most qualified candidates for this position will possess educational units in child development, education or a related field. Candidates should also have verifiable previous successful experience in working with children. All interested applicants must complete an on-line application.
