      Comments and Other Information

      Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in teaching, care and assistance with students or individuals with special needs. Must pass basic skills proficiency test. Desired Qualifications: Experience working in Special Education. This assignment serves students who demonstrate skills and abilities in the severe to profound range, with significant global delays in multiple domains (language, mobility, cognitive, self-care, etc.). Curriculum emphasis is on basic daily living functional skills and hygiene including toileting and feeding. High staffing rations typically includes 1 staff to 2 to 3 students. All staff must have the ability to respond quickly and safely to a wide variety of physical, behavioral, communicative, self-care and cognitive needs, challenges, and limitation of the students throughout the school day. This position is located at: Greengate School in Woodland, CA. Work hours are: 6 hours per day, Mon - Fri., 8:15 am - 2:45 pm
