Description: -1.0 FTE Certificated Position starting August 19, 2019 -Salary based on the MUSD certificated salary schedule with up to 9 years of full time public school teaching experience accepted -Starting salary range of $46,00 - 66,895 -Includes an excellent certificated benefit package -Position Closes 3/15/19 Qualifications: -CA Singe Subject Credential in Biology -English Learner Authorization -Experience teaching Biology and AP Environmental Science or willingness to attend AP training -Experience with ecological field work to teach in a unique environmental science program called SONAR, an interdisciplinary project-based program of English and Science -Knowledge of NGSS and experience implementing inquiry and project-based lessons -Ability to obtain a CTE credential in Plant and Soil Science to run the greenhouse program is a bonus -Willing to be an integral part of a dedicated and collaborative team of teachers
