Job Summary
Under supervision of the Human Resources manager, performs a variety of technical human resources duties and provides assistance to current and prospective personnel; assists in the recruitment, examination, and interviewing activities of new personnel; prepares and maintains a variety of related personnel records and reports; performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties related to the human resources function.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Two years college-level course work in human resources or related field; • Three years personnel-related experience (additional relevant experience may qualify for formal education); • A minimum of two (2) years of increasingly complex secretarial experience; • Typing Certificate which demonstrates typing/word processing skills at a minimum of 50 words per minute from clear copy; • Possess or obtain upon employment, a valid California Driver License; • Provide proof of automobile insurability; • Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively, including lifting twenty-five (25) pounds on an occasional basis and in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds with assistance.
