POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Center for Teacher Innovation is recruiting Education Specialist Practicum Supervisors for our Intern Program, a district intern program in partnership with Tulare County Office of Education. The Practicum Supervisor is a faculty member assigned to support, observe, and evaluate the intern’s performance during the eight months (minimum) of the internship year in accordance with the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs) and Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs). Interested applicants need to email required documents to Allan Hallis at ahallis@rcoe.us *REQUIRED DOCUMENTS* •Current Resume •Two (2) Letters of Reference/Recommendation (Must be dated within the last 2 years of the position closing date) •Letter of Introduction (Must be specific to position) •Possession of a California Clear Education Specialist Teaching Credential (mild/moderate, moderate/severe or equivalent)

The following documents are required upon hire: Valid California Driver's License, Fingerprint Clearance, TB Clearance, Bachelor's Degree. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years teaching experience with positive evaluations and/or recommendations. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is required. Master’s degree desirable. *A minimum of 9-12 formal and informal observations are required per semester. CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES: Possession of a California Clear Education Specialist Teaching Credential (mild/moderate, moderate/severe or equivalent). You must provide copies of credentials as required for position or provide evidence of qualifying for required credentials with your application materials.
