Job Title: Home School Teacher
Essential Duties:
Accountable for supporting and monitoring the personalized learning of assigned TK-12 homeschooled students.
Monitors students’ progress and attendance in collaboration with each student.
Collects work samples and digital attendance logs from students on a regular basis and ensures that they are filled in properly.
Supports and encourages parents of TK-12 students and meet regularly virtually and/or in person.
Approves enrichment, curriculum, and tech orders to support the personalized education TK-12 students.
Attends all required Staff Meetings and Trainings.
Participates and attends required events, park days, field trips, and more for possible recruiting opportunities.
Serves as an Enrichment Academy teacher, if an opening is available, for additional compensation.
Serves as a proctor or coordinator for annual CA State Testing.
Responds within 24 hours to emails and phone calls.
Requirements/Experience:
Energetic, Caring, Organized, Flexible, Excellent Communication, writing, and grammar skills
Proficient in Google Drive documents and other technology and programs
Must hold a valid CA credential
Must have at least one year experience in a homeschool environment
Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements for Applying MATERIALS Clear California Credential as well as EL Certification for position applying. Copy of transcripts. A minimum of one year experience working with homeschooling families or students required. Upon request to hire we will need a clear TB result within the last 4 years. Required Submission: Resume, Letter of Introduction or Cover Letter, transcripts, 2 current letters of recommendations (pertaining to current job applied) and a minimum of two work references with phone numbers.
