Facilitates student success in academic, social, creative and interpersonal skills through a planned program; provides a safe and optimal learning environment. El Dorado County Office of Education, Charter Extended Day program is looking for talented individuals to join our team to provide fun, creative, engaging, and educational activities to children grades K-8 in our after-school programs. This is a 10-month (August – May) 15-hour per week (3 hours/day) position, at various school sites. Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, this individual assists with the planning, procuring materials, and facilitating of a variety of activities spanning different subjects and themes (including STEM and STEAM), in a structured setting, where fun and learning go hand-in-hand. Job Requirements - Qualifications: - Experience: Six months experience working with school-age children in a day care or recreation program preferred. - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
