The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a CTIC at Pleasant View Elementary School, under the direction of the school site principal or designee, the Curriculum, Technology and Intervention Coach will be responsible for planning, developing and coordinating delivery of technology-based intervention geared towards the integration of technology in the classroom to support teaching and learning. This position will provide coaching support to teachers utilizing technology in blended learning environments to align practices with the District Vision for 21st Century Learning. The Curriculum, Technology and Intervention Coach will also be responsible for assessment, identification, and academic support for at-risk students in order to eliminate the achievement gap. The Curriculum, Technology and Intervention Coach will assist the principal in the implementation of the curriculum and programs that promote the District’s Mission and Vision for Student Achievement. REQUIREMENTS • Three years of successful teaching experience • Bachelor’s Degree, including coursework in elementary and/or secondary methodology and curriculum development • A Multiple Subject or Single Subject California Teaching Credential • English Learner Authorization • ESSA Compliant (Every Student Succeeds Act)
PREFERENCES • Formal training and experience in Professional Learning Communities • Experience as a resource teacher, grade level lead, department chair, or other leader • Expertise leading instructional technology-based teaching and learning • Extensive knowledge and/or training in literacy and/or math and intervention strategies • Ability with curriculum, assessment, and instructional coaching practices • Master’s degree • Bilingual/Biliterate (Spanish) THE FOLLOWING MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR EMPLOYMENT CONSIDERATION (1) Ed-Join Application (2) Letter of Intent; (3) Résumé (Additional documents may be required upon offer of employment).
