BOARD POLICY:	In accordance with Board Policy BP 4111 (Personnel) and Personnel Commission Rule 40.100; the Board of Trustees desires to employ the most highly qualified and appropriate person available for each position in order to improve student achievement and efficiency in district operations.
LIMITED TOLERANCE:	Because we are a public agency tasked with protecting children, we follow a "limited tolerance" policy in regards to employing people with conviction records.
	After a conditional offer of employment, applicants will be required to pay the cost of all pre-employment processing which may include: physical examinations, drug/alcohol screening, TB clearance and fingerprinting.

Important Comments MUST PASS THE DISTRICT WRITTEN EXAM AND ORAL QUALIFICATIONS APPRAISAL - Applicants that pass the initial screening will be notified of the examination date.The written exam will cover vehicle operation, safety, driving terminology, traffic laws, childcare and reading comprehension.The written exam and the oral appraisal will each count for 50% of the total score.
