BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of a program administrator, perform the necessary tasks to assure compliance with Head Start performance standards related to various health services; assess the health needs of enrolled Head Start children; develop and present student and parent education programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program and one year registered nursing experience.

LICENSE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
California Registered Nurse License.

BENEFITS: A benefit entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 20 hours per week. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per week.
