Hours/Location:	Hours vary from 3 hours to 6 hours. Locations vary throughout Stanislaus County depending on assignment given.
Education/Experience:	Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and some experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities. All VOLUNTEER work must be stated in DETAIL in the "Record of Work Experience" section of the application.
Conditions of Employment:	A pre-employment physical/drug screening clearance, department of justice clearance and tuberculosis clearance will be required prior to employment.

ENVIRONMENT: Specialized classroom environment for the severely learning challenged. Classroom and playground environment. TYPES OF CLASSES: Autism, Community School, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Emotionally Disturbed, Independent Study, Juvenile Hall, Learning Handicapped, Life Skills, Multi Handicapped, Physically Handicapped, Resource, Severe Disorders of Language, Severely Handicapped, Special Day Class, Transitions, Visually Handicapped, 1:1 Assignment (Working with a specific student), Classroom Assistant (Assisting teacher in the classroom), Itinerant Para Educator (Working with a specific student at one or more sites).
