A 30 day Emergency Sub Teaching Permit. A 30 day Emergency Sub Teaching Permit with a CBEST Waiver. Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers. A California Teaching Credential - Multiple Subject, Single Subject or Educational Specialist. 30 day Emergency Teaching permit: BA/BS or higher from an accredited college or university (verified by an official transcript). Completion of the basic skills requirement (CBEST or Multiple Subject CSET) and completion of the appropriate Credentialing (CCTC) application 41-4. CBEST testing information is on line at www.cbest.nesinc.com. Completion of the Livescan fingerprinting process for CCTC, total fee $66.00 ($32.00 DOJ / $19.00 FBI / $15.00 processing fee). Teacher applicants need the following required materials: Resume, Letter of Introducation, Three Professional Letters of Recommendation, proof of BA, and/or copy of valid CA substitute permit or teaching credential.
