ABOUT OCHSA

The Orange County High School of the Arts (OCHSA) provides bright and talented students with a creative, challenging, and nurturing environment that inspires them to express themselves and achieve their highest potential in academia and the arts.

Serving a culturally diverse student body of 1,300 students in grades seven through twelve from 92 cities throughout Southern California, this unique, tuition-free school is one of the nation’s largest public charter schools. OCHSA’s faculty is fully credentialed, with more than half holding a masters degree. They are dedicated and supportive professionals who help students develop the skills necessary for higher education or a profession in the arts.

OCHSA provides a rigorous college preparatory academic program aligned to the California State Standards. Students attend approximately five hours of academic classes in addition to three hours of daily arts instruction. They maintain a school-wide Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.23, with the senior class averaging a 3.21 GPA.
