Our family of schools includes three middle schools (Grades 6–8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K–5), three schools with all grades (K–8), and one Early Education Center. We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. We have various theme based schools: Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM. The San Mateo-Foster City School District are looking for substitute custodians. This position is for an "on-call" basis. We need both day and night substitute custodians. Night Custodian: $22.65 per hour Day Custodian: $23.83 per hour Definition: Under general supervision, to coordinate daily school cleaning, repair, activity set-up, safety inspections, and security activities with the site principal, to keep buildings, grounds, and office space clean and orderly; to perform custodial, storekeeping, and light grounds and building maintenance tasks in the service of a school; to lead a small crew of custodians; and to perform related work as required. The district is located on the San Francisco peninsula, 19 miles south of San Francisco just north of the Silicon Valley.
