Spectrum Center Schools is a division of ChanceLight Behavioral Health and Education, which provides behavioral health and special and alternative education to students nationwide. As an Occupational Therapist at Spectrum Schools you will provide direct therapy and assessments to students with special needs in grades K-12. This is a full time position working during school hours on campus Monday-Friday. Primary Responsibilities: Implement designated student services as detailed in the student’s IEP, including how many hours each week and within the designated times. Complete assessment report within mandated time frames. Communicate results of evaluation and specific recommendations of occupational therapy services to the parent, educational staff, and students when appropriate, other professional, and agencies concerned with the student with mandated signed consent from responsible party of student. Plan and develop therapeutic intervention goals that are educationally relevant to be integrated in the students ‘educational programs Conduct periodic reassessment of the therapy objectives as indicated by student needs determined to be educationally relevant.
