Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Child Development Program; provides an educational program for infants, toddlers and pre-school, consistent with the Child Development program’s philosophy and goals. Develops and maintains an educational environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of resources provided by the Child Development Program.

Minimum: - AA in the following: Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development, or related field. - Possess 6 units of infant/toddler coursework. (upon employment, must obtain within one year from date of hire). - Possess the appropriate California Teaching Permit or one of the following Child Development Permits: Teacher, Master Teacher, Site Supervisor, or Director Permit. -CPR/FA Certifications Desired: - At least one year of experience working in an Early Head Start Program. - Previous working experience with families in planning family goals and child educational goals. - Bilingual in Spanish; Cantonese; etc. - Experience with effective communication,
