Job Summary
The Intellectual Virtues Academy Director of Operations and Programs works closely with IVA's Principal and Counselor to protect the school's mission and vision in all areas related to compliance and operations of this independent charter school. The Director of Operations and Programs is responsible for implementing effective and efficient operations, policies, programs, and procedures at IVA school site. This includes managing the Student Information and Attendance Reporting, Health and Safety, Insurance, and Facilities as well as ensuring that the school is in compliance with all local, district, state and federal laws and regulations. They will work closely with IVA’s principal, back office provider and other charter school consultants in their efforts to provide the school with operational and financial guidance and assistance. The Director of Programs and Operations may manage operations staff including Office Supervisor and Nutritional Services Coordinator and will report to the School Principal. IVA envisions the smooth and efficient running of a school as a foundation from which the personally meaningful and compelling mission for meaningful growth in intellectual virtues is possible.
