Math Teachers have the ability to connect students to an understanding of systems and structures with numbers. They inspire thought and provoke a critical analysis for a solution. The math teacher builds the foundation for learning within an interdisciplinary structure of Project- Based Learning and Blended Learning approach. The math teacher inspires scholars to use academic language as a way to express their inherent creativity and understanding of the content. The teacher candidate will be confident in modeling and reinforcing the fundamentals of writing, reading comprehension, diction and word application within the math course. AMA is committed to creating an environment that merges STEAM into cultivating a bridge for new media arts and the math teacher plays a critical role in supporting the accountability for meeting that commitment.
