The mission of Gabriella Charter Schools is to join academic rigor with the creativity of dance to engage the hearts and minds of young people in underserved communities, empowering them to excel both inside and outside the classroom. Gabriella Charter Schools is composed of two high-performing, dance-themed charter schools in the Los Angeles community. GCS 1 serves grades TK-8 and is located in the community of Echo Park. GCS 2 serves grades TK-8 and is located in the community of Historic South Central. The Gabriella Charter Schools operations team is a cornerstone of the Gabriella model and is designed to support school administrators in non-instructional obligations so that they can focus almost exclusively on student achievement and the professional development of the teaching staff. The Senior School Operations Manager is a critical member of the operations team, and reports to the Director of Operations and Strategy as well as the Director of Special Projects and the Director of Instruction. The Senior School Operations Manager oversees school operations at each of the school sites, including supervising the School Operations Managers. The ideal candidate is a highly personable, systematic, and extremely organized individual who deeply believes in the Gabriella Charter Schools model and is committed to helping build a culture where all students reach their highest potential.
